Why Pinoy Next Chapter exists
Starting a new career, supporting family across borders, or preparing to return home can raise questions that do not have simple answers. Pinoy Next Chapter is an independent publication being built to make those choices easier to understand.
Our focus is work and learning, everyday money, healthcare and protection, returning to the Philippines, and tools that support these goals. We serve Filipinos living in the Philippines, overseas Filipino workers, and Filipinos who have settled abroad.
Who runs the publication
Pinoy Next Chapter was founded by Victor Detaro, an OFW based in the Middle East. His experience working overseas informs the questions this publication explores. Personal experience is identified as personal experience; it is not a substitute for professional qualifications or advice.
The publication is in its early stages. Our first detailed guides are being prepared. We do not claim to have a team of medical, financial, or insurance experts. Where a guide receives specialist review, it will name the reviewer and explain their relevant credentials and the scope of the review.
What readers can expect
Our editorial standard is to explain options clearly, use reliable sources, distinguish research from hands-on testing, and identify the country and circumstances a guide covers.
